Helping You Improve Project Management Skills!

Presented by the American Road & Transportation Builders Association’s Transportation Development Foundation (ARTBA-TDF) and Clemson University, these unique academies are designed to provide both substantive theory and practical application of project management principles for road and bridge building construction project managers. The intensive, week-long program is designed to maximize the experience for managers with a wide range of practical experience. Participants will receive instruction from leading industry experts and be given the opportunity to learn from each other in peer-to-peer sessions. The goal: to help raise the knowledge, skills and practical application of good project management principles that are directly applicable when participants return back to their job.

Who Should Attend

The Academy is designed to enhance the professional abilities of project managers working on road and bridge building construction. This course is suitable for new project managers and experienced project managers who would like to learn the latest information techniques and tricks of the trade to enhance their management skills.

Program Content

Academies cover key areas and skill sets employed by successful project managers. Each program features a variety of opportunities for participants to learn best practices from each other in addition to the expert instructors. There are also many opportunities for participants to explore the on-the-job challenges they are facing and discover solutions that will help them achieve higher performance when they return to their company.

Earn Professional Development Hours (PDHs)

Attendees of the Academy will earn 36 PDHs. Upon successful completion of the program, each attendee will receive a certificate with the number PDHs earned during the academy. ARTBA also maintains a copy of the record for verification.
